Leadership

Three people, four continents of trials

Between them they cover agronomy, commercial strategy and the grower relationships that open a market. That is how NanoThrive runs trials on four continents with a team this size.

Amanda Smith

Amanda Smith

Tennessee, USA

Amanda brings more than 16 years across public relations, business development and agricultural innovation. She has led go-to-market strategy, investor relations and partnership development for agtech serving international markets.

She is also a seasoned public speaker with a background in media, stage and broadcast, so she carries both the strategy and the telling of it into every partnership she supports.

Adrian Rivera

Adrian Rivera

Mexico

Adrian is a plant science engineer and agronomist specializing in post-harvest technology and plant nutrition, with over 35 years leading innovation, plant nutrition and sustainable development in agribusiness across Mexico and Latin America.

He pioneered certified organic agriculture in the region and co-founded agrotechnology companies working on crop nutrition through ecological technologies and on patented thermoculture equipment for natural pest control.

His conviction that technical excellence and entrepreneurship have to produce real social impact shows in his work as one of the founders of Villa Infantil Sonríe, an orphanage and home in Querétaro that has been transforming the lives of vulnerable children and young people since 1999, seeing them through to professional and social integration.

Joe Petty

Joe Petty

South Carolina, USA

Joe is a sales and marketing leader with nearly 30 years in manufacturing and distribution channels. He has spent that career building sales teams, on the belief that culture is what makes performance last.

At NanoThrive the draw is agriculture itself: healing the soil, delivering real ROI for farmers, and supporting human health from the ground up. When soil thrives, he argues, everyone downstream benefits. Farmers see stronger returns, communities get healthier food, and the land is still there for the next generation.

Network

The network behind the team

NanoThrive was built to launch in many markets at once. Most of that capacity sits in relationships rather than headcount: agronomists, reps, universities and government contacts already in place.

Agricultural professionals

An extensive international network of agricultural professionals and sales representatives.

Government and universities

Connections across government bodies and university research departments.

Established partners

Partners already in place in the UK, the UAE and South America.

Standby launch teams

Teams ready to launch across North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Small science. Global thrive.
